    Need a monitor0-Help

I have heard of people putting in aftermarket monitors for a couple of bucks. Just called milltronics to see what they offered. $2645.00 for a monitor upgrade to lcd. This anchor probably isnt worth that much but I want to fix it and at least see what it can do. Its a Lathe serial#11722 with what appears to be a 16" CRT. Would greatly apreciate any input from someone who has done the mod. My other option would be to go grab an old CRT and slide that in.

Open up the control and see if the monitor is plugged into a standard VGA plug .
Then try any old computer CRT . You will have to plug the power into an outside 120V cord to try this .
I replaced 2 of my mill monitors with LCD flat monitors that I bought online , and built alum boxes to attach them over the hole left by the old CRTs.
The F keys don't line up with the screen , but it works fine otherwise .
You can get 14" screens for about $120 .
