Looking for quotes for drilling and tapping 1/2" 304 stainless steel rods with 3/8-16 at 5/8 thread depth both ends. Rod is about a foot long.

Material will be supplied cut to length, no face cut op needed, just drill and tap no face cut. Qty 100-200 units per week, and shipping will be covered by us both ways.

The same question could be asked of you. He said 100-200 units PER WEEK. Mojave was asking how long the job would run for. Another good question to ask is if material must be supplied by the customer, and if yes, if the material will be sent each week or if the machine shop could get a months or more worth at one time.

Ummmm, no.... It clearly says qty 100-200, that is per week... Don't count your eggs before there in the basket Matt, many things could be said about your poor business approach to this one.
