I just got my copy of Sprutcam and did the installation and keep getting the message that it does not see the hardware key. The key is plugged in and the red light is on, but I keep getting the message. Did a reboot and when that did not work a full power off. Any suggestions. Thanks

Did you have the dongle inserted when you installed SprutCAM?
Or perhaps you did not have the STRegister7.stj file in the C:\ProgramData\Sprut Technology\Licence directory when updating SC.

Or if you purchased SprutCAM from Tormach then send an email to Eric ([email protected]).

I took a look an did not see the STRegister7.stj file in the sprutcam7 directory and added the file from the CD but still get the same error that it does not see the hardware key.

I already e-mailed Eric at Tormach but was hopping to get everything setup an working over the three day weekend.

If you don't install off the Tormach CD initially, this happens. Do that, then update to the latest release, and you will be fine.
