    Oil seal sources?

I need just one silly little oil seal to get my mill head back together, but can't find it anywhere in short time -- 35mm x 45mm x 8mm, preferably double-lip. HF wants 6-8 weeks, Grizzly says end of March, McMaster doesn't have this size, and all local sources said they'd have to order it, and may take a couple weeks.

Any other sources that may have this in stock?

    Cheers,
    -Neil.

Adam, do you have this size? .. 35mm ID x 45mm OD x 8mm thick (though I suspect other thicknesses near that would be fine).

Lathemaster does not have it. Neither does Enco (my mill should be the same as a Rong-Fu RF-31).

All of them... not kidding. Actually, I found one who was local to me that said they had it, but said I'd have to order it off their website, as they don't allow pick-ups. And then I could not find it on their website.

    Seal

Is this a metal clad seal (press in style)
Or is it all rubber and snap in?

Well its already junk right? Get it out of there so we can have a good look, I buy seals like this all the time.. Less than $20 but ups will hit you $10 or $12

Pull it out and send me pics so I can match it.

Ugh -- was hoping you wouldn't say that. Looks like I will need to put it back together this Friday, even with a leak, so that I can get some machining done this weekend (robotics-club stuff). I can send it to you next week.

Im looking in my book right now and have a 35 x 45 x 7 mm

I'll call you tomorrow when I get over to the shop (where the machine is).

    Cheers,
