I have an elderly Okuma LB15 Lathe and I am having some tool offset problems!

What happens is that I try and set a tool offset and everything happens as expected, EXCEPT that the displayed tool position does not change?

I "think" that the indicator light on the A Turret used to be on, I think I can remember that you used to be able to select A or B turret not that it matters as it only has one turret. Now you can press either button and the controller beeps but no indicator light on either button.

My guess is that somehow something happened or I fat fingered something and now no turret is selected so that the completely as expected tool offsets are having no actual effect...... I have no idea!!

I am hoping that somebody can remember the fix for something like this?

Buttons are there and the beep will work signifying that the button has been pushed, but since you only have one turret, the light will not come on and the A/B switches have no function. Tool displayed positions do not change unless the tool is called up again.

At some point the display was upgraded to a flat screen. and the cables tied back way to tightly the connector on the PCB of the display was faulty as a result, drove me stupid trying to find it, working again!

I have very same problem as yours. It is LB15 with single turret and osp5020L controller. No indicator light on turet A or B. And when i measure tool offset machine coordinates is not changed. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you guys
