    open source cricut library

has anyone heard of/used the libcutter library? It can talk to the cricut family of tools.

The library can steer it around, and there's a tool to cut svgs.

Also, if anyone knows c++ and gcode, a g code interpreter would be awesome. For 2d tools, what file formats do you use most?

    EMC2 contains a g-code interpreter:

if you have something that reads and parses SVG it should not be so difficult to create G-code where the tool follows the SVG paths exactly. (2D offsets, nesting, etc. is more difficult)
