    OSP5020 Booting problem

My OSP chassis has a problem booting. The computer chassis shows UV alarm for 5, 12, and 24v. However, I don't think UV is the real problem. The chassis tries to boot as soon as you turn on the machine (not when you press the front panel power on/reset button). Sometimes this doesn't happen and it boots fine, usually after the machine has sat for a day.

So I think the problem is with the front panel. Taking it apart to inspect shows a couple of wires loose. I am not sure where these are intended to go. They're two blue wires, labelled 4/6, twisted together. I think they may go on the reset button, across from two 3P wires. Can anyone confirm this?

    A couple of questions:
    1. When you turn off your front panel, does your chassis read UV?
    2. Can you turn on your front panel after you turn it off, or do you have to power down the whole machine first?

    Thanks!
    -Jason

looking at a LNC8 print right now, 4 is on the control on PB, 6 is buss +24VDC.

Should be 3 &4 on the power on PB.

And to your other question, no and no.

Sounds like this machine was in an automated cell.
