    Oxy Ace bottles

Hi newbie here joined to see if i can get some info. I live in the BC Lower Mainland. I am looking to buy oxy acetylene bottles. Don't want to spend much and wondering if used bottles is the way to go? Are these bottles dated like a propane bottles? How often do you have to have them tested? How much does this cost? What should I look for when viewing these things? Anything else i should know would be appreciated. Thanks

    10 years

    Hi
every 10 years for retesting ther is a date just like propane.

what size of tanks are you after remember in canada the larges oxy tank is 80 cub foot and acet is 75 cub foot that you can buy.

check with welding suply shop and TSC for price on the tanks and refilling
sit down before you get the filling price for acet.

you might want to go with propane/oxy combonation.

you will use about 2 to 3 times the oxy but it will still be cheaper to run
