I have a panasonic servo motor(minas a4,750W)+its drive which moves the leadscrew of Z axis.

I'm about to replace the old control unit of a router machine with another one but the problem is that the old control unit was controlling this drive with pulses in position control mode. The one i'm going to install is capable of controlling the drives with analog voltage so i've changed the control mode parameter of the drive to velocity control mode. However now i face "overload error" in the Z axis drive when im trying to move the axis. How can i handle this?

I always hear some shrill sounds that come from inside of the panasonic motors. Do you have any advice to prevent these noises?

3)

What are the main differences among the control modes of panasonic drives? (position, velocity, torque, position+velocity, torque+velocity...)
