negativ3 -> My PP port is a aux card through PCIe slot. http://www.amazon.ca/Startech-Com-Express-Parallel-Card-Spp-PEX1P
    I am reading 3.3V at logic 1 and 11.2mV at logic 0.

I found the C10 (my BOB) manual. You can check it here : http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C10R10_USER_MANUAL.pdf
Page 2, in SPECIFICATIONS it is said

"On-State voltage range 2 to 5V DC" I have 3.3 so it is good !!
    "Max Off-Stage voltage 0.8V" I have 1.12V !! So ... PROBLEM !!

    Am i correct ?
If yes, how can i do to decrease it ??
Your off voltage is 11.2mV = 0.0112V, well below 0.8V.

The voltages are good for the PP card you have got.

    Of course, You are right. 11.2mV = 0.0112V !!

I head into the problem to much. I can't even realize mi BIG mistakes !!

So My PP port works well. Do you know how i have to configur Mach3 and My C10 BOB ?

    Here is My configuration :

    C10
    -----
Jumper "com" set to 2-3 (5v)
    Jumper "pin 2-9" set to 1-2 (Pull-down)
Jumper "In-Out" set to 1-2 (Out)

    I have a 5v 1000mA pluged into Gnd/5v/EN pins

I have a E-Stop pluged into pin 10 and 5V (This one works well. it was detected automatically in Mach3.

    KL-4030
    --------
    (for X) pluged into pin 2, com and 3. (pin2->Pul- pin3->Dir- Pin Com->Dir+ & Pul+
ENA+ and ENA- are not pluged.

    VCC pluged to 36V.

    Motors
    -------
    23H286-20-8B
    Connected in bipolar parallel
    Blue/white and Red/white to A+
    Blue and Red to A-
    Black/white and Green/white to B+
    Green and Black to B-

    Kl-4030 switches : 1 Down, 2 Down, 3 Up, 4 Down, 5 Up, 6 Up, 7 Down, 8 Down
So it should be : Microstep = 1/8 and current 2.7A

    Mach3
    -------
    Port & Pin / Motor outputs :

    X : enabled / Step Pin#2 / Dir Pin#3 / Dir low Disabled / Step Low Disabled / Step port 1/ Dir port 1.

I Press "reset" to get out emergency mode and try to move my X motor with left and right arrows. The value change but the motor does not turn.

The motor is free to turn when the system is OFF and is "blocked" when it is ON. It means the driver (KL4030) works.

So ... What is wrong ??

    Thanks

    IT WORKS !!!!

    X, Y, Z !!! (not A tested yet)

    Thanks Al
    Thanks negativ3.
    Thanks RFB

I checked the pdf "mach3 setup" and my config is the same. but i did not check the Sherline 1/2 puls mode.
I tried with it but ... nothing !!
I turned it off and then i tried for the 10th time to change the Axis conf in Mach3.
I changed the pin for X (in M3 and on the BOB) : nothing.
I tried to configure pin 2-9 as input on the BOB to test them with the E-Stop automatic detection but ... nothing.

I decided to put things straight once more and then it works !!!
I do not know why !!

    Maybe i forgot something !!!

Anyway .... it works now !!

Thanks all for your help !!

    nicotom,

I'm glad to hear that you were able to make it work. Persistence is the conqueror of all troublesome tasks. Now have some fun.

    Hi,

Did you check if your PPort adress is correct ?

Then, did you check the voltage on your PPort like in the vidéo ?

Do you have correct voltage ?
