    Thumbs up Practical CNC

Warning- I feel compelled to post this warning about potential customers of Practical CNC. Do not engage in a business transaction with this company. They deceived us with a bogus claim of one of their machines being able to ship the end of July. They required 100% of the money up front. They never delivered the machine, they won't tell us why, the owner, Joe Rathbun, does not even have the integrity to discuss it with us. They won't return our money. They won't even call us. Do not get involved with them. You will surely regret it. They have even instructed or coerced their subordinate employees to mislead customers. Don't do it!!!! Unfortunately we are having to take leal action against them just to retrieve our payment for something we never received. No ethics, no class, no itegrity, no honesty, no courage.

Out of business.... My experience was very negative with them as well, but the machine worked for 3 years, 8 hours a day without a problem until it got replaced with a laser. I think that they would have done just fine with some good management and general business ethics.

I would ask 911 Bob if he ever got his money back but it looks like he hasn't been on since the day he posted his message here.

Not only is his phone disconnected, but so is his business ehtics and his courage. He never called. He would not come to the phone- no communication whatsoever. He just waited until he received payment in full and then put the ''CLOSED" sign up on his business. He is a thief and I'm sure that his family, who were also employed there, are very proud of him.
We haven't received a dime, but we also haven't exhausted all our efforts to collect.

I hope that you paid with a CC, that would make it very easy to get your money back... Or else it may be quite difficult to collect from someone in personal bankrupcy, short of showing up at his house with a crowbar and a shovel.
