I have a old Bosch Alpha 3 controller. The battery went dead recently and all the program/settings were lost. I was able to load up the XYZ dc servo parameters and were able to operate the machine manually. But dont know much about automatic operation.
1. Some M-functions: M48, return-N, END-block-Y, decoded-N, EXTERN-Y, "travel command z-axis_rapid" There is no external button for that. How do I program that if it does not have any button related to it?
The machine is slicing machine with a XYZ stage on the bottom. A stationary rotor on the top.

A cnc slicing machine? very interesting. More info would be needed such as machine manufacturer.
