    repositioning interrupted job

I am confronted with returning an incomplete work piece / job on my table after being forced to shutdown mach3. Would somebody please suggest an accurate method of returning a partially completed job to the work table where I can resume the job without destroying what I have started. Thank you

If you don't have home switches, which act as a reference point from which the floating zeros are offset, then make a little divot with your tool, someplace outside the cutting area, before you start the job. Write down the coordinates. If you lose your place, you can always return the tool to that spot, enter the coordinates, and resume the job ( move to the spot where it failed first, and start the spindle).
