    Resharpening of Drills end mills

    I just got a cnc tool and cutter grinder....isnt it easier to grind some of the stuff on a manual one??? i get this feeling and i think i may be doing something wrong...but i can look at the tool and say if its good or bad..but i dont know the values to put on my cnc to make em look good....stupid..!!!! yes i know...but....

    you might have purchaserd this machine for some specific need or may have somespecial requirment.

    i just saw, you have a jungner
    axial rake on the end , try 1dg
    the tool must be rubbing somewhere for it to spark, check behind the rad.
    whats your clearance on the dia.?
    try 9 and and 20dg.
    the rake is probably not the reason for the spark.

    Sparking

    Hey cb1,
    Thanks for the info..... the relief behind the radius (of 0.8mm) is just a primary relief of 10deg with a land of 0.8mm
    on od and face reilief are 10deg/21 deg and 7deg and21deg respectively.....
