    retaining cap

    i have a hypertherm 1250 powermax on a 4x8 cnc table with the hypertherm phc with ohmic, the retaining cap i am using now is 120928with the sensor wire threaded between this and the shield , should i switch to retaining cap220061. thanks

    For the ohmic contact function to operate with your Sensor PHC height control...you need to use the 220061 retaining cap that has the wire connector. This allows the height control to make an electrical connection to the shield....for accurate plate surface sensing.

    okay ,thanks, when gorilla set it up they made a loop in the wire and put it around the thread on the retaining cap and the shield and said not to thread it tight, is there a connector i need to put on the wire for it to connect on to the retaining cap, thanks

    It uses a 1/4" female spade style electrical connector.
