I have a simple form, essentially a rectangular pocket with radiused corners drawn normal to the X/Y plane. Extruded down, (z minus).
I'd like to rotate this pocket around X axis so that the bottom of the pocket is sloped. I'm not concerned with the resulting change to the adjacent sides, they could have the same slope, or not, It is unimportant to my project.
When using bobcad v21, I just select the geometry, and command rotate, specify an axis and an angle. Done.
I'm not having the same luck with alibre. An alibre tech gave a friend of mine a description of how to do this, involving drawing a new form next to the existing one, extruding the new form with draft, and constraining the new form to original one.
Is it not possible to simply rotate an element/solid in relationship to the drawing?
