Hi all.
I have a Superior Electric SloSyn stepper motor, type M093-FD14 rated 2.7v 7.0a 450oz. Here is a page with specs.
Leads:
Red/WhtRed - phase - Black middle
Grn/WhtGrn - phase - White middle

Since it is a 6 lead I could connect it as unipolar or bipolar series, right?
The fist table on the web page says 550Oz if connected as bipolar, the thing I dont understand is how many amps should I feed it then, the same 7a or less.

Would it run hotter if connected as bipolar, are there pros and cons?
Which driver would you suggest for this motor?

Thanks.
