Will a standard db9 to db15 cable work for serial communications between a laptop and an allen bradley 9/series? Or would I need a custom cable?

Does this company do custom pinouts or should standard pinouts work for me?

You would not use the 15pin port on this machine for RS232 communication. The machine will have typically a DB9 but on some models of the 9 series they have used DB25 as well. If you need help with clarification on wiring, give me a call - We have the wiring info as well as some manuals I can provide to you.
