Now that looks like a very handy tool.
    How big is it? (DIA.)

I think I would want the center hole about an 1/8" to maybe 1/4", so I
could use a transfer punch to center it on the part.

    What do you think?

He said the template was 7.4375... your dxf comes out at 3.400.
    You can't have a 5-1/2" bolt pattern on a 3.40 disk.

I think I made you a better one.
    It's 9.5 outside dia.
    with rings out to 8.5"
    and down to 2"
    All holes are 1/4"
I left the circle rings in the dxf, so if you want to add more holes
or change them you'll have the guide lines to go by.

I setup the larger rings with 12 holes, that way you can have
3/6/9/12 or 2/4/6/8/10/12 bolt hole patterns.
