Thank you very much urbnsr!
I need to make a mounting bracket for an air filter and I didn't know if anyone else could use this in the future. Drawn up in inches.
Anyone have an Iges file of the Red Wings Logo. ..or maybe DXF would be ok
Here is the project i was doing, just got it done this morning and its a Christmas present, talk about cutting it close. not as neat as i was hoping but turned out ok, thanks to all of you really wanted to do the tire or the burn out sign but couldn't get it to look as one peace and didn't what to have to make it separate part, i also did a test cut of the tire and did turn out kind of neat. once again thanks
Ryke - Your work looks very nice. Do I see multi layers?
Also, on the second image, I can't see all words and maybe I am missing something, but wondered if the project was spell-checked. Not meaning to criticize, but wanted to mention it before you gift it. I hope I'm wrong! I know I've been so involved in the making process, I ask my wife to look over things like that for me. But my spellin' sucks, though.

Yes part of it got cut off, didn't notice when i took the picture, and yes it ends up being 3 layers. here is the wording only thing i didn't like is i put low case i instead of up case I 's

Can you send me the DXF file for this?
Newbie here....I greyscale photos in photoshop then use the dodge and burn brush tools to get the rounded spherical jelly mould effect...can take a couple of hours manually but not found an automatic program yet that does it without losing the finer details...
Anyway...here are a couple of greyscales I did for a friends son who is into boxing and Laurel and Hardy for anybody to copy/use....just change the name on them in photoshop..

trouble... that's cute... I know what you mean about wood vs polymer, wood is nice, yet so unpredictable... I usually just v-carve it...

Trouble....yeah...cos that's what she is....I do get asked every week "Can you do this photo of mine in wood?"......I used to say no.....but now I say "maybe..I'll have to have a play around".....but it will take me 20 hours and cost you £60 ($100) if I can...and they say ok....In polymer I'd do the same framed photo for £25....
The money is definitely in the wood.....but its still a pain to manually greyscale.....
But I agree...when done right there is nothing to beat real carved wood..... :O)
