Salty72 the attach dxf file was made with bobart raised to vector(less tham 1 min.). the files take longer to clean up than to raise to vector
the second file I just did was more than one raise to vector of image. you can see where the color chages as to the detail in photo second file is about 5min. to make but with this one you can use to edit out areas and refine file which is where the time can real at up

This is a very usefull thread. It would be perfect if someone could collected all these files to the download site (I have tried to upload some files to that site but it won't work)

Another place to check out is www.dafont.com that site you can find fonts, symbols, logos, patterns and more. Programs like Edgecam suports Truetype text. An easy way to some nice engravings

And here is a dxf file. Superman S

Mike that is what I do.. Trace the drawing in photoshop and open with artcam and vectorize it and export to dxf if I want to.. Most of the images that I do are to big to upload to this site.

Corel is a nice package for the price. I first bought paint shop pro x for $69 and they then gave me the upgtade to graphic suite X3 for $179 so for total cost of $250 it seems to be worth the money

Would it be safe to consider that these posted dxf's are 'open source'? I'd like to use some in the future.
