    should we by a multus????

Hi guys,we have the chance to by a multus 300c ex demo at a good price,do we need it or should we by a new lathe and mill? we are a smallish subcontractor doing oil and gas type work in scotland our turnover is £1 million per year.do these turn mill's make as much money as conventional cnc's? wat are the pro's and cons? thanks kenny.

Pro: 1) do everything in one setup and it will less likely to have a mistake. you can do pretty much almost everything compare to lathe and mill. 2)pay 1 oparator instead 2. 3)less time wait time, machine all at one machine intead wait.. while the other one is running. 4)less space, specially in euroupe the rent is expense and space is not that roomy.

Cons: 1)pricey 2)need to buy a cad/cam support it 3)harder to find worker know how.... program and run machine 4)interfee space, if you have a big piece..... machine won't have enough space.

Other than that go for it.
