Why can't you download ladder to laptop in handy format (NC file) and break the code? Do you know?

Because GETPASS was written to read the ladder as a binary file. The handy format is a text file.

The #5555 pasword is a READ password. Fanuc has two passwords, READ and WRITE. Fanuc Ladder III requires the WRITE password. The only way you are going to obtain that is from the machine tool builder or you use an SRAM card so GETPASS can read it.

Hi guys,
I have a DMG DMC-63V milling machine with a fanuc 180i-mb.
There is an issue with one of my PLC outputs so I need to monitor the PMC Ladder to find out where is the problem. PMC Ladder has a password that I don't have it.
Can anyone help me with that?
