Help with sorting out a servo driver

    Hello,

I need some help with a CNC router that I'm making for my hobby. I've picked up some secondhand equipment from a Starrett CMM (circa ~1970's I believe), namely the servo drivers, servos and power supply for the servo drivers. All the drivers turn on and report that they're working ok. The machine was scrapped because the granite table broke and the machine was no longer in use.

My question is how do I get a CNC board attached to the drivers and the encoders on the servos? Specifically, does anybody have any insight on how the step and direction is mapped to the inputs on my drivers?
The servo's themselves have 4 wires, 2 for motor and 2 for encoder.
Picture of driver pinout is attached.

Edit: The model # of the driver board is 800-497 by Copley Controls Corp. From what google gave me, it seemed like they were made specifically for the CMM.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Those drive do not have encoder input just tach for velocity loop, which in not really used any more, now you usually remove the tach or connections and run the drive in the torque mode, rather then Velocity.
Also the input is analogue ±10vdc, so to use them you will need a suitable control of the same kind, simple controllers such as Mach only have step/dir.

So, how would I get feedback from the servos? And any idea what board I would be looking for?
