    intro cnc

    Im a college student, mech engineer. been workin with mills and lathes for a while understand the basics. now i got the mechanical basics of a cnc well established. my question is what would it take to get the following design to handle soft metal such as aluminum, and what would it cost

    The cost and ability of your diy cnc to cut aluminum depends on how resourceful you are and the rigidity of what you put together.
