TNC 150 on Interact - Constant contour speed?

    Hi there,

I hope some clever sole can answer this for us.... We're using an old Interact mill with a TNC 150 control.... Despite only having 1200 blocks of memory available I've been playing with some CAM software as we have a basic mould to make.

I have run the resulting program (well part of it) but hit a problem, after every feed move (L move (we're using conversational)) the table de-accelerates to zero feed before starting the next move. Apart from the fact that it will take an age to machine the part the cutter is obviously being loaded and unloaded at every move.
Going through the manual, it suggests that an M90 should turn on constant contour speed but it seems to not have any effect. There is also a note in the manual saying that some machines parameters may not allow M90 to work? Can any one shed any light on this, as it's pretty well unusable at the moment and until the new mill arrives we're a bit stumped.

    Many thanks in advance.....

    James

    Ok,

Just an update... I've been playing with this today....

Changed MP54 & MP91 and it's all much better now.
