ok i am new here aswell
i had a breif encounter with cnc about 10 years ago
intermac glass cnc but was young and thought it was a little slow and boring
now 10 years older and sick of doing most glass processing by hand
i have another opertunity to operate a glass cnc
i currently am on a bavelloni alpa cnc machine
and would like to learn as much as i can about cnc machining
i have worked on very large automated machinery before and find
that i am picking up cnc maching quickly
i was running this machine after 1 day training
is there any courses or info about ISO language
and i am intersetd in making a cnc machine but dont know what for
what is the most common type made
was thinking of maybe a engraver for like trophy engraving

I'm new too. the whole concept of CNC fascinates me and I really want to build something that crosses that divide between woodworking and computers!!! I have purchased plans for mdf machines and have been searching for parts and materials. there are some absolutely fascinating videos on youtube and i will definitely be attending the next CNCzone BBQ in Melbourne!!
