I need some help.

I am working with an Okuma & Howa, and I am having a startup issue. This machine has been down for three weeks now, and I am trying to get it to start up, and I am having a couple of alarms, they are:

System Alarm
972 NMI occurred in other module Slot 13

Slot 02 915 SRAM Parity (2N+1) <Sub




Does anyone have any suggestions, I'm thinking everything has to be dumped, then rebooted, but I'm not too sure with myself on doing that...but then again, it's not running now.

I took the main, and the opt2 boards out, cleaned the card connections reseated all of the cards, then started the boot screen. Initilized the FROM, replaced the SRAM program, reloaded the NC Basic, and other program files.

When I started the machine I had two alarms 404, and a 417. Searched the parameters for the 417 alarm, and reassigned the motor desination from 4 and 5, to 6, and 7.

That was it. I'm glad I had to fight thru this issue...I am sure that I learned a lot about transfering data from the machine, to the flash rom card. I'm just glad we had the two 4 MByte card to do it.

Hello, I'm new here.
Can anyone help, we have a problem on a Daewoo puma 400.
After the hollidays machine does not start up.
"system alarm 972 NMI OCCURRED I OTHER MODULE".
Original floppy's does'nt work anymore.
We need the file; SRAM 256A.FDB.

Any news would be great, thanks
