    clear a G54 code

Stupid question, I know, but it's been awhile. Can anyone tell me how to clear a dominant G54, G55, etc. code and put the computer back to the standard work shift?

Are you trying to work off the common shift?

If so G54-G59 will always be active, but if you leave those as zero, the machine will shift whatever value you have in the common work shift.

The common work shift is a global shift. If you have values in G54-G59 the common shift will effect those as well.

    Thank you

Thank you, I knew it was something really small like that. I just couldn't remember if it was possible or not.
