I use Cut2d for 3 years now and just bought a 4th axis for my Syil X4, any of you use a Vectric program for machining with 4th axis? I love Vectric programs BTW.

You can actually make a PP for the 4th axis. It just needs to change the drive letter from either X or Y to the drive letter that your control software uses for the rotary. I have done this for the PhotoVcarve software. Read this post and it explains how to do it. Vectric Forum • View topic - Second one. 360 Degree Panoramic Lithophane
Both V-Carve Pro and Aspire can create wrapped toolpaths. Note that you can't load 3D models and create 4 axis toolpaths for them. You still basically design a flat panel. Both programs come with gadgets to help with the wrapping and make it easier. There's a section at Vectric's forum dealing with wrapped toopaths.

Got you, thanks! I was thinking on loading a 3D model and from from that. Any advises of a good, easy to use 4th CAM for me? TIA
