    Ram Parity (base0)

    Dear all!

Today I powered up customer's Fanuc 11M machine and I got message:
    RAM PARITY (BASE0).
Reading previous posts, I conluded that memory is erased due to bad battery.
How can I get alive this machine again? Where this battery is located? Is this battery on the front panel? This battery was not replaced 19 yeaers (machine is from 1988).
    On BASE0 I have 01P1E modul, then on BASE1 is 01P1D and on BASE2 is 01P23~25 module.
Please can somebody provide me instructions how to get alive this machine...
    Thank you very much!

    Regards!

The battery is normally within a short distance of the main rack, it is sometimes in the door of the cabinet in a black box, IRC there is 4 'D' cells.
Replace them with the power on.
To reload the parameters, set the serial parameters by hand and load the usual way with the PC. The option parameters have to be loaded as well.

Depends where the OEM mounted them, some are accessible from the outside of the enclsure door (bad idea).
Most are within a short distance of the MB in the main enclosure, Black Plastic box with two wires going in.
They can be loaded by hand or PC (if PC,serial paramters have to be loaded by hand) , the PDF I have is too large to post, if you send a PM with email add I can forward a copy.
