I'm trying to update emc2 2.2.8 to 2.3.x on Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy heron
If I run emc2-install.sh fails - suggesting 'manually run dpkg' scrolling up the terminal windows show a failure at the beginning of the script - sudo unable to resolve host Axis [Axis is the name of the machine]
I'm very much a linux newbie (and to be honest, I hate its cryptic processes) so please be patient.
