I have just brought a new Flat bed CNC so that I can branch out into making models like the files that are posted here. So I have started by downloading a Raptor and trying to import it as a DXF,
This is proving to not be that easy though :-( The way I have done this in the past is put all the bits in to correl draw, colour them red and then use a program that takes the dxf in red and converts it into a woodwop file to run on the cnc. I seem to be having loads of problems though with the scale not being right, multiple lines one under eachother and so on.
Does anybody else happen to use woodwop and happen to have an easy guide into converting these files so they can be used? What I also did was looked at the slots that will efectivly fit on the edge of the wood and scale the drawing up untill the slot is the same width as the required thickness.
Any help would be amazing!!
