NO DRO movement when x is manually jogged

Hey guys, just setting up mach 3 to control my CandCNC 4x8 precision plasma table.

everything seems to be going well and I've been following the Candcnc instructions to the "T", but I have a issue. When I got to the manual test of the axis motions I found all of them moved on the table, and all but the x axis showed accurate readings in the DRO's (correct motor tunning) BUT the x-axis shows nothing.

Basically what happens is, I jog the x-axis either direction and it physically moves, but the DRO on Mach stays on 0.000. The only thing that i see when I jog the x-axis is the a axis DRO (slaved to the y-axis) shows a velocity but no coordinate change?

I'm confused. help would be great I'm a newbie so I may need the "dumbed down" version of what to do.... just a warning.

    Thanks
