hi everyone just asking if anyone knows of a tutorial or some thing on making coins, medallions as i have an engraver and want to try this. i have watched all the vectric videos but they dont take you down the start to finish road.

Watch out when doing copper, some is hard and machines great and some is soft and cuts like chewed gum, same thing with aluminum.

Do you want to make your own medallion shapes or do you mean what goes on the face? Try Google for shapes and as for the art work on the face WELL almost anything you can think of could go there. Same thing goes for coins, I've done eagles and boats on Nickels and Pennies and they sold fast, working on an EAGLE & FLAG now.

They are pretty ragged .pdf's to start with so you have plenty of work cleaning up the .dxf's (perhaps somebody else can do better).
