    HAAS feeds not reading

I have just installed a HAAS VF3 1994 machine and I'm still learning to use the controller. My problem is that I cannot get the program to read the feed rates that I am inputting. When I am changing parameters I can get it to either rapid or move very very slowly (maybe 1mm/min). I have the machine set in metric and trying to feed around 500m/min.

Are there any obvious parameters that would be restricting this? I have attached an image of my code below. the X50. Y25. F300 is not reading the F300 and is in rapid instead, as well as the rest of the linear moves. The G12 cycle then moves extremely slow in increments of 0.001mm!

You need decimal points after the feed rates. F300.

Im pretty sure I tried using decimals and it made no difference. I will try again.

Hello I use a cad cam package but looking at you code the X50. Y25. is the start position for your cutter and this will be a rapid movement so not quite sure why you have a F300.(as others have said the dot is there) on that line, you mentioned that you are learning the controller i think the following link may be relevant to what you are trying to achieve https://diy.haascnc.com/g12-circular...g-ccw-group-00 (My machine is also 1994 but smaller)

    X50. Y25. F300 is not reading the F300
to read the F300 on this line it would have to written G01 X50. Y25. F300. as previously the is a G00 which is modal and will remain active untill changed by G01,G02,G03

and on the G12 cycle the F500 needs the decimal point at the end

Thanks guys, makes sense. I did try using G01 but possibly didn't use it correctly.

    Re: HAAS feeds not reading

for anyone else that found this thread in a search or something: F300 = F0.0300 (while running in inch units)
This is controllable through setting 77 which determines the decimal delimitator.
