If your turret is continually spinning I'd say your solenoid has failed.

no..... sir........ turret is not continually spinning.turret follow tool number accurately ..also work in jog mode..the issue is turret not locking ..in other words motor not reverse activating to complete the tool change cycle..
turret not to reverse and not clamp so not activating diagnostics 17 bit 1..

If you can see the solenoid activating and turning on 16 bit 7 check your relays

There is a cover on top of unit about 65 dia take it off to see solenoid I can't remember exactly what relay I think it is top row 2nd and 3rd from right I do not have drawings in front of me
i have a wiring diagram if you say i can share with you..
and this is i confirm you that solenoid and both sensor are work fine the only thing is encoder metal ring not come under the locking control switch
