If you do replace them make sure that you get low inductance steppers. Many newbies get enamoured with the high torque of a lot of steppers but without realising that they have high
inductance and therefore as slow as a wet week. The manufacturers make them especially for newcomers who don't know what they are buying....don't be a plonker and get caught out.
Don't spend a cent until you post the specs, there is just so much rubbish on the market, looks good, sounds good but is actually junk.
