HI !
i've rescently acquired TNCremont HEIDENHEIN.
i'm trying to use it with mastercamX and i'm unable to post from mastercamX .
can some one tell me how to configure it ?
i'm just starting to learn about postprocessing.

well were using mastercam 9.1 and im not sure on the the post were usign but make sure that when u drag the posted file into tnc remo you change the extension from blahblah.nc to blahblah.h other wise i pretty sure the machine wont read it. the posting is pretty simple on mcam 9.1 the post is called heid.pst there are others on it but its different on which machin your using.

how do i drag a file from mastercam to tnc remo
so codes can change from G to L ?
EX: GCODE

G1X0.0Y0.0F100

ON HEIDENHAIN IT WILL BE:

L X0 Y0 F1000

well if you have tncremo nt then it should just look like your viewing like any other folder with a list of files/directory and yes instead of g codes it should be linear movements but the post on mastercam should do that for you. all we have to do is instead of inputing into the machine a .nc file which the post puts out. we just change the extention to .h. this is for mill the heidenhain lathes use .nc or .ncs

well it looks very complicate,
first when i save the file on .H , mastercam tells me i can not save through
that extension so when i open it with TNCREMONT it comes out with G codes.
im really lost with that postprscessor stuff...
