    Sizing Program

    Hi Shaun,

Thanks for the demo and the programs, will alphacam be quicker that the cnc editor, ie; setting depths etc, or do I still need to use cnc editor and if so, what will I need to input into cnc editor after using alphacam? What is the difference from using cad to alphacam in the demo video. Appreicate your help and cheers so far for helping me out. We don't do repetitive sizes in our workshop, it's all different sizes, ie; doors, arcs and alot of one offs for the private customer. Let me know what you think?

    Cheers,

    Brian.

I've attached some sizing programs which use different edges.
I made them all parametric so they all work from the piece parameters.

The main two which i use are the (size) program and the (size around)
They work well the operator just puts the finish panel size in the control and uses offsets.

The replacing command for the Z0 from yesterday i don't thnk there is an easy way around it.

    Hi Brian,

On the demo the alphacam bit is when you see the first cad part.
Then the program is sent to the post processor.

Then it was opened up in alpha edit. This is alphacams editor.
Then i opened it up in the cnc editor.

It is a lot quicker to alter depths on alphacam then re-post the program to the editor.

The cad is a lot easier to draw in alphacam than autocad and very easy.
