Mazak Space Gear SG-48 Optics Alignment ?

    Hi guys,

I’m trying to align internal bean on my Space Gear SG-48. This Machine has Fanuc control and Panasonic CO2 resonator. Fanuc resonator is easy to align (internal bean) they have control PC where u can hook up your digital multi-meter and get max power by adjusting the Micro meters on Output mirror and Rear Mirror. The concept of these both resonators seems very similar Panasonic also has Micrometers X,Y on Output mirror and rear mirror. Does anyone know how to hook up multi-meter on a Panasonic C02 laser??? Any suggestion/help would be appreciated.

==> Anyone here with panasonic Resonator Alignment Exp at all?

    Hi,

You read the power output from the CNC monitor or the LED panel on the booster side of the resonator.

What is the resonator type or P/N? and output power?
It needs to be in open loop before you can accuratley adjust the output coupler to it's max power. (It's a jumper on the main board)

Then you adjust the rear optic for the best mode.

    Cheers

Thank a lot for the information. How do I check what type of laser resonator I have? Where exactly Is that main board and jumper?? Is there a name or label of this jumper? It’s a Mazak Space gear U44 6-axis machine. Resonator itself has roots blower /vacuum pump setup.
