How to retract Z when machine pauses.

I upgraded to the latest control software from Techno.
My old version had a setting that when I paused the machine, it would pull the Z up out of the material. Since the upgrade, it does not pull up.
What is that setting called or where can I find it?
    Thanks, Glenn
