I found chinese cutters dont give the same finish as a good quality cutter like a Cari-b-tool or similar. I would maybe plunge a little slower and that is the critical time for the cutter. Try misting with metho and little bit of kero to stop the metho drying out seals, You will see the difference in the cut also you can hear it when it is happy

I have been using some of my 1/4" armana downcut bits. They seem OK but as a collet went missing I used my 6mm collet and the one that came with the machine. This wasn't one of the cheaper chinese ones but better quality.

I like it more for sure. Quality of the cut is no issue but what I do like is even though its a down cut it is clearing thedust a lot better than the armana, no need to scrape it out, its letting the dusty have a good go at clearing most of it while cutting.

Art Type Work Made by China CNC Router from Nick Sokolov in Australia
Nick Sokolov is a professor in a Lab in Australia. He uses OMNI4040 CNC Router to make some art type work. The material he uses are acrylic, plastic, wood etc.

That art type work is for his air vehicle mold. He uses mini cnc router OMNI4040 to cut the acrylic. The control system he uses is MACH3.
