    Re: Mach3 2010 Screen set

I don't know if there are any other settings in the ESS plugin, as I've never used one.
Maybe try adding some noise filtering on the probe input?

Make sure you have the latest plugin, and version 3.043.062.
    https://www.warp9td.com/files/Plugin...0220_u4f1L.zip

I loaded your .xml, and don't see anything out of the ordinary.

The fact that it's random may point to something in your configuration or installation?

The only other suggestion would be to create a new profile from scratch, and only set up the bare minimum for testing the auto zero.

Sorry, but I don't have any other suggestions.

If you can't get it to work, and would like a refund, send me an email.

    Re: Mach3 2010 Screen set

Gerry I would never ask you for a refund, I've learned a lot with your screenset and that's worth the money, learn!

I don't think it's a problem with the macros themselves, but that suggestion to filter the input I liked, is one of the few things that are random in a system, the noise.
In what way do I do it? Inductance? Capacitor? Ferrite core? Any particular value? Where can I find information about it? How do I google it?

Everything else you mentioned I already did, the latest plugin, correct version of mach3 and even create a new profile just to test the macro ... so I'll check the installation and see the noise issue

    thanks!!

There's a noise filter setting in the ESS plugin. That's what I was referring to.

    Re: Mach3 2010 Screen set

Well, there was definitely a substantial improvement with noise filter setting.
In about 30 attempts of autozero sequence, only once did not work.
I did not investigate much more, I just adjusted the probe filter to 1.43 ms. The rest still in 0.00 ms.
For now it's all right, I'll see how to improve 100% later.

    Thanks Gerry

That suggests that the M6Start and M6End macros might be missing from the macros/Mill folder.

Rodger, they are in the folder I noticed two different Mach 3 folders on my "C" drive they both have M6 End and M6Start marcos One is labeled Mach3 and the other labeled "Mach3 new" It has been so long since I installed the 2010 screen set.

    Thanks Lou

In general config, do you have tool changes set to "Stop Spindle, wait for Cycle Start"?

If you mean after the first tool change, then it's Aspire sending it to the home position. You can change the home position in Aspire, edit the post, or use one of the posts on my website.

It sends me home after I do the setup touch both plates the box pops up to start spindle. So I manually start the spindle through SupPid click the box and it sends me home instead of cutting the work pieace. This is before I even do a tool change.
