    Idea for a small router

    I´m planing to build a small router to cut basla and plywood, Ithink to use "T" and "L" aluminium section as guides and slides made of HDPE, Wath do you think abouth this?, I will need .004" of accuracy.

    I think they'll flex and wear faster than you think. I would suggest looking up all the proven designs, you'll find most of them in the desktop mill forum.

    I´m planning to use 1/8 or thicker section and 6061 t6 or maybe 7050 /7075 t6, do you thick that this could flex?
    I even could use 1/4" steel, I think this design coul very easy to build, if I could make it stiff enought!
    P.S.: excuse muy very bad english :-(
