    G0704 Spindle Motor Frame Size?

    Sorry if this has been covered before, i really did search for a long time i promise!

    Does anyone know the frame size of the stock spindle motor? Or has anyone found a drop in replacement that doesn't suck so bad? I'm hoping to find a 3phase ac motor that will fit the stock rpm/shaft/flange, so i can dump the controller as well.

    I don't know the frame size but there are lots of motor and controller options here. Projects

    I finally got to the shop to take some measurements. It appears to be a metric d63 frame with a b14 face except the shaft is 10mm instead of the 11mm standard.
