Is prestone OK for water cooled spindle

Hi, like title said, would like to know if I can add some prestone in the water to preserve against bacteria and other contaminant.

    I use distilled water.

    Thanks for your help.

Is prestone OK for water cooled spindle

Check with the spindle manufacture, some call of ethylene glycol, others propylene glycol.

These can react with the cooling fins in the spindle, propylene glycol can react with certain material and cause you issues with breaking down the material and clogging the passages.
