Lightbulb 1st CNC Build - Aluminum & PCB Mill

Hello All, This community has been a great source of knowledge.
I have been pondering for years and finally decided to go ahead with my first build.
I could use a little help as I'm not 100% confident yet.

My goal is to mill aluminum parts, average size would be 6x6x6... and also PCB boards.

Phil @ pminmo.com has been helping alot and I cant thank him enough.
Here is what I have purchased so far:
    (3) A3977 controllers + Breakout Board:
    http://pminmo.com/ss3977/ss3977.htm

    (2) X axis:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140220891380

    (2) Y Axis Shafts:

    (2) Y axis Linear Bearings:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140216872540

    (1) Z Axis Kit:

    ---------------------------

    Planning on buying:

Lead Screws: (need to determine length)

    Stepper Motors: 276 OZ-IN
    http://web1.automationdirect.com/adc...ors_-z-_Cables

    ----------------------------------------

And thats as far as I've gotten so far.
Im thinking of building the frame out of T-slot aluminum...
but I would really like to hear some advice on completing this build.
I still need quite a bit more
    Thank You

Have you had a look at Fandz's design? I think its pretty sturdy, rigid and small for milling metal. Have a look at his build thread here.

Hopefully, I will be putting an all Aluminum (small) router together in the near future, it will be interesting to see how you develop yours.

How did you mange to get a Z-axis from cnconabudget?...I have written Paul Jones (about 4 times) inquiring about his Zaxis with no response so far.
My take from his website is that you have to send the payment first for him even to consider you as a customer.

    Thanks for any info.
