easily $800 in my location, Minnesota. value varies considerably by location.
This lathe looks almost identical to the Harbor Freight 12X36 I had a couple of years ago. It was a good lathe. I bought it new for $1,600 including the stand at a Harbor Freight store. I don't know if a 20 year old lathe is worth 50% of the new cost.
Its the ubiquitous Chinese 12 X 36 design. Looks to be in decent shape and has the stand. These things usually were sold with a 3 jaw, 4 jaw, face plate, steady rest and follow rest. Be sure those items are included and the extra gears for the drive- and be sure all 6 jaws are there for the 3 jaw chuck. If its close by, you won't have any freight to pay, so the 800.00 is a reasonable deal.
Thanks for the information. I bought it today and taking delivery in the morning.
The 6 jaws were there, no 4 jaw chuck, but it did come with a nice set of Big Mack 1004 and K/DIK L.W (Jack) Kuhn quick release tool holders.
