Hi Guys,
I'm using an Epilog Helix 35w laser. I'm cutting several panel pieces on a 12x24 inch sheet of Rowmark 1/8" black/translucent white vinyl. I've gotten my raster and vector cut settings just right on a sample piece but I am unsure what distance need to be maintained between the longer vector cuts. my vector settings are 20/40/5000. is there a "rule of thumb" for vector spacing?

Are you talking about the space between cut lines. Very little is needed the laser is a very fine beam.Its actually possible to use one line for the same cut between to different pieces

I didn't even think of just butting them against each other. That would allow me to use less material as I was setting the spacing between cuts at .25"
